Hi, I’m Siets (Sietske Pelgrum, b. 1986), an autonomous artist from the Netherlands. I create intuitively — without a predetermined plan — guided by what wants to take form from within. My work explores themes of inner truth, consciousness, transformation, and symbolism.

Over the years, my practice has grown from photography and graphic design into a broad visual language that includes digital illustrations, paintings, drawings, and mixed media. My imagery is often figurative, blending human and animal forms.

With a background in graphic design, photography and art direction, I developed a counterbalance to the conceptual world: creating from presence and intuition, without expectation. This way of working became a lasting source of fascination and creative freedom.
